An order from the government

Our first corporate gift! And also the first time dealing with the government of Malaysia. It was quite an experience for us, everything was formal, we never knew there were so many procedures!

We were approached by an officer from Bahagian Pengurusan Alam Sekitar dan Perubahan Iklim, they requested Sugar Rush to supply cupcakes for Majlis Pelancaran Dasar Perubahan Iklim by YAB Timbalan Perdana Menteri on 30 August 2010 in Putrajaya.

They needed 3 sets of gifts: One for VVIP, our Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin; VIPs which are the ministers and Others for the organizers and crews. In conjunction with theme, the gifts have to be as environmental friendly as possible. They also requested to have the figurines to be of endangered animals. After several samples sent, they finally chose to have 5 designs (baby seals, penguins, polar bears, turtles and clown fish).
